What do you hope to achieve in the next 10 years?
10 years is a long time but there is much to achieve!
Overall, I hope that we can maximise the potential we initially saw in The Book Kitchen and take it to greater heights. We are shortly introducing a range of packaged goods which include our most popular products which allow customers to continue eating the taste of The Book Kitchen at home.
I hope to be further along in my quest to bring high quality food and ingredients to more people. Australia is a big country and the cities definitely dominate. Unfortunately, there is such a demise in food culture knowledge and understanding as soon as you move out of the big smoke. As Australians, we are so lucky to have amazing natural resources and uncanny resourcefulness and I believe that more can be done to educate and promote easy, healthy, food oriented lifestyles.
As a mother of a 9 month-old baby also, I would personally like to be able to create more time within my busy life to enjoy being a mum and wife. And I want to explore my involvement the fashion world and be creative in new and exciting ways. Maybe there is a way that my fashion interests can intersect with our culinary pursuits.
