Chilli crisis to tests Indonesia’s love of spicy food
Whilst Australia has recently been inundated with rainfall, so too have our neighbours in Indonesia. Recent reports in the Jakarta Post suggest heavy rainfall during the dry season – an unusual occurance - may have done more than make you put on your gumboots and raincoat, it has damaged chili crops that require decent dry weather before harvesting.
