Electrolux Appetite for Excellence offers young talented chefs, waiters, and restaurateurs the chance to travel the world, experiencing unique opportunities that can gain national and international publicity.

Whilst the winners in all three categories are awarded prizes as outlined, to be selected as a finalist and national finalist is an amazing achievement in itself! This is why we provide all of the national finalists an enviable prize – to travel to one of Australia’s leading food and wine regions to meet the passionate producers and growers responsible for Australia’s renowned produce.  This is made possible with the support of Australian Pork Limited; Dairy Australia; Fisheries Research and Development Corporation; Horticulture Australia Limited; Meat and Livestock Australia.

The prizes vary year to year as more opportunities arise and to accommodate our growth. The prizes for each category are indicated on the left hand side.
