Hailing from around the country, the top chefs, waiters and restaurateurs, all aged 30 and under have been chosen and will descend on Noosa on August 13 to cook and host a one-off, four-course lunch at Noosa Waterfront Restaurant & Bar.
Foodies are invited to join the 17 national finalists who will be cooking and serving an unmissable feast.
The menu is inspired by the incredible produce which the group unearthed during a recent culinary safari of Queensland’s most dynamic farmers, harvesters, fishers and winemakers.
The lunch offers 80 guests the unique opportunity to hear the stories behind the dishes, see the trends that will soon find their way onto our plates and experience first-hand what the next generation of young Aussie tastemakers have to offer.
The 17 national finalists hail from restaurants such as Bennelong (Sydney), Anchovy (Melbourne), Urbane (Brisbane) and St Hugo (Barossa). They have been selected by industry legends including the likes of Peter Gilmore, Luke Mangan, Christine Manfield, Danielle Gjestland, Ross Lusted and Sam Christie because of their skill, devotion to their craft and, above all, outstanding talent.
