Ever tried oysters for breakfast? We thought why not when they taste this good. We checked in at Armstrong Oysters on the mid coast of NSW as part of the 2010 Produce Tour and learnt alot about oysters, oyster varieties and oyster farming practices.

Armstrong Oysters have been going strong for the past 40 years, family owned and operated in the beautiful Camden Haven, Laurieton. They are now in their second generation with 40 years of knowledge & experience in the oyster-farming industry, harvesting oysters 12 months of the year. Armstrong Oysters are becoming a recognised name throughout Australia for producing a consistent Sydney Rock Oyster.

Due to the high quality and demand of Armstrong Oysters, the farm is a busy supplier, supplying oysters to restaurants, whole sale food outlets in Queensland and Victoria and farmers markets Australia-wide. You can visit their retail shop which is located on the banks of the mighty Camden Haven River and open 7 days a week, they also ship un-opened oysters Australia-wide in special chilled containers. One visit and you will see why we enjoyed this place so much!
